I am an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Yiluan Song’s lab, where I study phytoplankton communities and the environmental factors that influence cyanobacteria blooms in freshwater ecosystems. My previous research has focused on long-term seed viability, comparing herbarium specimen seeds with results from the ongoing Beal seed longevity experiment. More broadly, I am interested in understanding how environmental change shapes plant behavior and species responses over time. Outside of research, I enjoy playing musical instruments and taking care of my houseplants!
